Who We Are

The Mountain Amateur Athletic Club (MAAC) is a group of community leaders, coaches, and supporters dedicated to recognizing and investing in student-athletes across Western North Carolina. Through events like the annual Sports Awards Banquet and Hall of Fame Induction, the board works to celebrate achievement, preserve local athletic legacy, and create opportunities for the next generation.

We believe in simple ideas, strong relationships, and lasting impact. What began as a passion project has evolved into something more. We’re proud of where we’ve been and even more excited for what’s ahead.
